Job requirements

The role

We are looking for a Senior Art Director/ACD with solid conceptual and design experience in advertising to join our growing team. Flexibility and an entrepreneurial mind-set will be key in this role. You will contribute to a growing creative culture, and you’ll have the opportunity to bring flair (do people still say that?) to everything from creative proposals to campaign delivery.

 

Work will involve a mixture of advertising, design concepts, creation of social media assets, rich media advertising, email, also animation, interactive online design and info-graphic design. And it will include more traditional design, layout and typographical work.

 

We want a person who seeks out the opportunity to make every project its best, whether that opportunity is highly conceptual brand ideas or making sure every detail of a piece is perfectly executed. Both ends of that spectrum should bring you joy.

What You’ll Do:

  •  Concept, concept, concept

  • Establish visual tone, character, and messages that will effectively communicate with the target audience and fulfill the project objectives.

  • Responsible for the proper placement, context and meaning of every image and graphic element within a creative assignment.

  • Assist CD's and in commissioning and management of outside illustrators, photographers, comp artists, and video producers. Proactively defines and assembles all necessary content assets with the creative staff.

  • Work daily with the Project Manager or Account Team to ensure all deliverables and deadlines are met within budget.

  • Assist CD in presenting work to client.

  • Collaborate with other creative staff to share learning and experience and to establish initiatives that will improve our creative product.

  • Work with client and cross-functional teams in order to create communications and experiences that meet business objectives

  • Meet with clients and/or leadership to deliver innovative campaign strategies and solutions

  • Support the agency with winning new business

  • Ensures best practices are applied across account responsibilities

  • Keeps management in the loop and effectively escalates roadblocks.

  • Contribute to overall office morale, spirit, character and work quality.

 

What you’ll bring: 

  • 10+ years of professional experience in Art direction/ Graphic design within an Ad/Marketing agency

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Exciting portfolio of fresh ideas that are beautifully crafted

  • Experience working on technology brands

  • Experience in AI and Figma is a plus

  • Experience working within style and brand guidelines

  • Bonus points for knowledge of Animation/Motion Design knowledge and interest

 

Salary range for this position is: $120,000 - $130,000 DOE
