The role:

As a Senior Search Manager, you'll be at the forefront of our search marketing efforts, blending strategy with hands-on execution. You'll lead a dynamic team, driving success in search campaigns while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Your strategic insight and expertise in paid search will be pivotal in propelling our clients' success in the B2B sector.

In this role, you'll be a key player in our biddable media team, which includes specialists in social, search, and programmatic advertising. Reporting to the Head of Biddable, EMEA, you're expected to navigate the evolving landscape of regulatory and privacy changes, ensuring our strategies remain proactive and forward-thinking. Your confidence and articulation will establish you as a trusted and well-respected voice, guiding your team and engaging with clients to deliver exceptional results.


What you’ll do:

  • Lead the strategy and execution of search marketing campaigns, aligning with client goals and driving measurable success. This will include activity across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, and SA360
  • Manage and mentor a team, fostering an environment of growth, innovation, and high performance.
  • Serve as a key client contact, building strong relationships and ensuring their strategic objectives are met.
  • Stay ahead of regulatory and privacy changes, guiding the planning and implementation of necessary adaptations in our search strategies.
  • Develop comprehensive program reporting and dashboards, providing insights into program health, performance, and opportunities for growth or efficiency.
  • Collaborate across teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to biddable media.
  • Play a pivotal role in pitching to potential clients and stakeholders.
  • Set high standards across all individual and team outputs to inspire client confidence and trust.


Job requirements

What you’ll bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in PPC, with a proven track record in a B2B agency setting.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in team management and development.
  • Strong analytical, numeracy, and office skills
  • Excellent client-facing and communication skills, with the ability to be a respected and trusted voice in discussions.
  • Deep expertise in paid search platforms, with a strategic approach to analytics and optimisation.
  • B2B and agency experience is preferred, with a keen understanding of cross-biddable media.
  • Ability to optimise search campaigns with a focus on MQLs, SQLs, and down-funnel metrics, beyond just in-platform indicators.
  • Self-starter and self-thinker with confidence in bringing new ideas and improving workflows.
  • Natural leadership qualities, leading client discussions, and owning projects from start to finish.
  • Enthusiastic mentorship abilities, fostering progression and work satisfaction in direct reports.
  • Technical expertise, including knowledge of trafficking tools (CM360) and fundamentals of other media channels.
